The Stuff was a 1980's B-movie that ran with the tag-line, "Are you eating it, or is it eating you?" It did not perform well at the box office.
As a side note, in the first sentence of his opinion, Judge Kozinski is parodying a line from Cool Hand Luke. This unique writing style has resulted in the formation of a fan club for the judge.
